RE: 92" edge hybrid
Hi geebee ,
Congratulation whit the Hybrid it looks nice.
I post some pics of mine, it is not fancy,
but in the sky you have a nice view on the plane.
I have also a video on youtube,
http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=n3iNZqKqanY
The Edge is very stable and responsive.
I have the MVVS 58 prosport in the front.
Witch us a greet engine if it will start!!
First start takes 30 minutes.[:@]
Lots off problems whit the engine.
Next year a replace it whit DL50 I hope that will be better.
Kind regards
Walter

Thanks Walter, I enjoyed the video you posted and good luck with the engine swap. I would have thought the MVVS 58 would be a great engine choice. We've got DL50s in stock if you are interested.

RE: 92" edge hybrid
geebee,
2 x HS-5998TG super high torque one per aileron
2 x HS-5945MG high torque elevator
1 x HS-5998TG super high torque rudder
This is my setup one servo per aileron is ok, because I have the MVVS58, weight is about 400gr more then the DA50, so I had to loos weight else ware, lipo’s on ignition(2200mah) and rx(2500mah), wooden prop to get the weight down.
CG is on the spot where it is set on the plans.
I think it is a little nose heavy as you can see on the video, but whit all the engine trouble I was not able to fly whit confidence, so playing whit the CG is for next year when the DL50 is installed.
What I can say about the MVVS58 prosport, it’s an incredible engine (when running)
the Edge Hybrid fly’s like an indoor foamy tons off power , my engine was made on a Monday I think…...
Kind regards
Walter

RE: 92" edge hybrid
Geebee, Does the coil on the zenoah G62 hit the engine compartment side? Or did you relocate the coil? If you had a close up of the engine compartment would be great. Thanks Brian
