BAD elevator on an EG YAK 50 CC plane purchased from OMP!~

2 Attachment(s)
I have just almost completed a very nice EG 50 cc YAK SP55M and have discovered an unusual defect in the elevator section. ( see pics)
when I line up the trailing edges, then the front left hand LE of the scale counterweight does not line up with the LE of the left stab..rather it dips more than 1/4"
below where it should. SO when I line up the LE of the left elevator, the TE of the left elevator is way down in relation to the right elevatoprs's TE!.. you can clearly see this in the pictures.
The plane cannot be flown in this condition it will just roll and crash! I have build other EG planes purchased from OMP and this never happened.. SEE http://www.delawarejetfactory.com/
My expectation here is that OMP should help me get corrected parts for this plane. I have tried to contact them by phone too and have had "0" response.
The first picture shows the LE of the left elevator when the TE's of both elevators are aligned
The second picture shows the TE's of both elevators when the LE's are both aligned with the stabs
very wierd!

Sorry but I do not come on RCU much anymore but were you able to ever get in contact with OMP. Considering the date of this thread it was around 4th of july.

Yes I did, they sent me a replacement left side. This was still "off" a little but I was able to make it perfect with the use of a custom made jig
and a hot air gun. The jig was set up sp both stabs roots are held perfectly horizontal over a dead flat wood ply plate with the 2 spars inserted in them.
Then I slowly heated the bad side and twisted its tip to the correct position and a little beyond. Once it all cooled down it held OK. Additionally I
used a special long tube and coated the inside of the Left stab inside surfaces with CA while it was set up in the jig that I made and let it cure. Once this cured
the stab help position perfectly. The plane flys GREAT.. it is slightly overpowered with a Wren 44 TP and can accelerate while climbing!
There is no roll movement induced at all by any degree of elevator input. With the original one it would have been very wierd!!!!
