Skysurfer; receiver 'range' only 100ft, why?
Hi all,
I am new to this so apologies if this has be covered elsewhere.
I have just bought a 'Skysurfer' RTF airplane (http://www.bananahobby.com/1937.html)and am experiencing the following problem;
After only a couple of hours flying the airplane's range has suddenly dropped to only 100-150ft for no apparent reason.
The batteries in the aircraft and the controller are both full (11.1V for the Li-Po airplane battery and 12v for the 8 X 'AA' batteries in the controller).
The only issue with the airplane prior to this was a delay in obtaining a response from the motor after plugging in the main battery (the controls all responded immediately).
but this soon resolved itself and the plane has otherwise flown perfectly.
Could anyone offer any insight as to why the receiver range has suddenly dropped so low?
Thanks,
John.
