RE: HZ Champ or Ember 2?
I'm partial to my Ember 2 and I think my brothers must have crashed their Champs 'cause I haven't heard a report from them. But then I never told them they should hit a simulator first, so my bad, maybe. I just gave 'em the birds and let 'em figure things out.
The Ember's light with lots of wing surface and it's critical to fly ZERO WIND CONDITIONS or she'll get blown away if you head down wind at all. Pretty sure the Champ's nearly as light and airy, too. Looks like you've got some wind block in the photos but be careful! They'veboth got the same "guts" down the wire, I believe, motor and definately the same dual micro-servo 6400 receiver set up, which are reliable and smooth.
Enjoy and....Godspeed!

I'd say you got a green light on that, sure.I know the Ember could handle a small space, no problem. Decisions, decisions, on this one I don't think you can lose. Enjoy!

The flying area looks a little tight particularly the width. I would pick standing by the two trees in the first picture on the bank in the background. I fly the Champ but I have nearly three acres to work with. You could do it with a Champ but you would probably do well to find a park first to do your initial flying.
Good luck.

Agreed, sir. He will have to be a little quick on the stick there. But as we know, there are the quick, and the dead (those who don't try).
Go get 'em!
