Default 1991 radio

Hi all. I have an old Hitec radio that I'm now thinking might still be good to use these days. It is an old Focus 4 on channel 26 (freq 72.310tf) and the receiver is a micro 535 which states:
- 1991 +fcc/ama
- Ultra narrow band
- pager proof & x-tal filter
- dual conversion

Could someone tell me if this radio is still legal?
I'm thinking I would like to use the transmitter only and spend a little more on the flight pack stuff and a charger. I was thinking of an FMA Quantum receiver, some FMA servos and Super 30 ESC.
And also a Supernova charger (unless there is a better Recommendation).
Any help is appreciated and recommendations are more than welcome as my previous experience is with simple 2-channel gliders and all this micro,li-poly,esc-bec,brushless,computer menu jargon is making my brain hurt!
Thanx again
Eric

Default 1991 radio

As long as it's narrow band, it's legal.
