Default hitec radio/slow stick problem

I ran into this problem as well with a GWS R4P with vertical pins. It is hard to find anywhere else to place the receiver, unless you mount it forward of the front wing pylon. The best thing to do is simply buy another receiver, such as a GWS R4P receiver with HORIZONTAL pins (~$20). A Hitec Feather also has HORIZONTAL pins so if you'd rather stick with Hitec then get one of those.

Good luck, Cheers, Phil

I had a different receiver, but with the same problem.

I glued a piece of 1/32 plywood to the side of the fuse stick (about the size of the reciever) and used velcro to attach the reciever to the ply.
