Default comet taylorcraft to epp

Just finished a comet kit from the 50s and did some conversion to make a nice slow fly. mostly right off plan except for reinforcement of wing and fuse near motor . left it a rud. and elve. to keep it light. it came in ready to fly at 15.2 oz. no batt. I have a eflight 370 in runner brush less
and gear box,10-4 prop..1350 11.1 batt. micro rec. dsm .. flew right off first flight,, 2 bumps of down trim..nice slow flight and almost hover in landings. has way more power than ever needed .

Default RE: comet taylorcraft to epp

Covered with micro light ultra coat . I'm an old control line flyer and on these little planes I like to use the sewed hinges ..will out last the plane and way easier to do on light or thin surfaces.. carbon fiber push rods and had to add a bulkhead to mount landing gear wire to..just had a blast flying this classic .
