EZ-XPORT is finally here! Use XPORT Modules on any RC Plane
Building off the EZ-ESC for brushless motor conversion on the Hobbyzone & Parkzone planes, the EZ-XPORT allows most if not all RC planes the ability to use the X-PORT modules: Sonic combat, aerial drop, LED night flight.
All you need is an extra servo port on your RX. You also have the ability to have the "5 second motor kill" when using the sonic combat modules or you can bypass it. For those of you who may have started out on the Hobbyzone or Parkzone planes, you probably enjoyed the use of the XPORT modules. As you move on to other planes, you are not able to use them because the port connection did not exist on other transmitter/receiver combinations. The EZ-XPORT changes all of that.
Initial price is $35. I will be selling them directly using Paypal and will most likely list them on EBAY. I've attached the Instruction manual and a picture of the EZ-XPORT.
You can reach me at [email protected] if you have any questions or wish to purchase one.
EZ-ESC info can be found here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5735217/tm.htm
Regards,
JC
PS: Thanks for all of the email I have been getting from everyone in response to the EZ-XPORT & EZ-ESC. Glad we can make some products that make flying these birds much more enjoyable!

I assume that you can skip the throttle hookup if you only want to use the drop module or the night flight module. Is this the case?

That is correct. I mentioned that fact in the manual. The only time you would want to connect up the throttle wires is when using the combat modules - and that is only for the motor-kill option.

Sounds great. I have a Slo-V that I love but the old gear is burning up and I would like to go Brushless with 72 mhz radio gear and keep the night flight module. Might have to donate to your cause sometime soon. Good Luck.
