Thumbs up DIY Slow Stick Landing Gear

Built new and very much improved lading gear for my "Franken Stick" using various random parts from my shop: House paint wood stirrer, block of balsa, stainless bike spoke, epoxy, thin CA and screws. Came out great and is very light and sturdy. Let thin CA soak a bit into balsa to add strength, then cut a piece in inverted "V" shape to attach legs, and fit over square fuse tube, Legs were cut from hardwood house paint mixer, and stainless bike spoke used for axle and also acts as brace for legs. Epoxied on legs and axle in place and covered in yellow monocoat to match tail feethers. Used original wheels.

Always good to read about the Slow Stick and how people modify it.
