Do you have any footage of it flying on floats?

Durafly TUNDRA Maiden Flightl on Snow Skis

I just did my maiden flight with the Durafly TUNDRA on snow skis. All went well on the maiden, but at the end of my second flight I came in hot on the tail wheel and broke the rudder servo. An easy $5.00 fix, otherwise not a scratch. Very nice plane, fun to fly. I put the tundra tires on and am waiting for the snow to melt. Watch for that video.

Is the tundra a good beginner plane. I fly drones a lot but want to get in to rc planes.

I could be used as a trainer, I dont know if its sold as one though, but its very docile, and fun.
A windy day rip with the Tundra!

I would say "no". It will be difficult to repair (itty teeny 1.5mm screws on the wings and struts instead of nylon wing bolts) and is a great sport model but not very forgiving of mistakes. Good second plane, maybe. I really enjoy mine.

If you are on a buddy box - maybe.
