Default One source on how to install micro RC components?

Hello everybody,

I am Building the Guillows Cherokee, but beginning seriously to wonder how to install the different components.
For instance: in a normal size RC model it is common to connect the e-motor to the ESC with connectors. After everything is installed (tested first, may be), you connect everything.
These micro components do not use so many connectors, it seems.
Take this ESC, for example.

http://www.micronwings.com/Products/ESC ... ndex.shtml

But if I solder the motor to the ESC, and the ESC to the receiver, installing the whole system becomes also a little problematic.
Or should I solder wires and micro connectors to the ESC (and to the engine)?
Connecting the Lipo to the ESC also is tricky: you don’t want to use power to disconnect the thing, and in the action completely destroy your model.
Etc.etc.
Is there a thread or site out here that covers (most of) these problems?
Thanks!

jan brilman,
Netherlands.
