Which motor is best?
I have researching brushless motors for months now and after many hard decisions I have narrowed my decision down to either the MpJet 25-35 with a MGM Compro or a Razor 400 with a Jeti 25 or a Mega 16/15 with a Jeti 25. All help and comments would be greatly appreciated. I hear that the razor 400 motor doesn't take a 15 oz plane verticle is this true. Has anyone tried the MPJet motor. Which one of these motors is best? Thanks for your time.

RE: Which motor is best?
What plane are you planning on putting it in?
I have the MP Jet 25/35 and enjoy it, however I believe you can get better performance out of a Razor motor with less amps.
I also believe that the RZ400 geared should have no problem giving a 15oz plane vertical.

RE: Which motor is best?
I'm going to put the brushless motor in my GWS Spitfire and Zero. So then you would recomend the RZ400 over the MPJet 25/35 and the Mega 16/15? What battery would be sufficient but not over $40 to run this motor? Thanks for your time.

I don't have any experience with the Mega, but I would recomend the Razor over the MP Jet if you have the money. Drop it into an inexpensive GWS gear box and enjoy it.
I believe a 3cell Li-poly battery would be your best match, but it's a bit expensive.
Doug at Mountain Models has the 8cell KAN 650's for $16, or if you want more runtime he also has the 8cell KAN 1050's for $18.

RE: Which motor is best?
KAN 650's [NiMH - 8-cells = (114g)] would be good, E-tec 2s2p 700 (68g), 3s 1200 (73g) or 2s2p 1200 (100g) would be better, Kokam 2s2p 340HD (44g), 3s2p 340HD (66g) would be best, if you have already gone the LiPoly route.
