Frustrated with GWS Zero
Got a GWS Zero......came out nice and light.....just cant keep it in the air. It flies like it is tailheavy but the suggested CG is about 60mm.......I am at maybe 40mm.....a good bit forward of recommended already. Anyone else got this type of problem?? My next step is to glue on some lead to the front somewhere although I hate to.....all equipment is already in the front...thanks guys!

Update!
okay guys.....I originally planned on waiting and getting some ideas, but I
went ahead and added nose weight right after I made the post and tried it
out. I stuck on 1 oz of tape-on lead weight to the gearbox (where the stick
goes in) and guess what........I now have a controllable plane! Yay! It
still acts like it would benefit from about 1/2 oz more (tail still likes to
sag) but flies beautiful now. Actually will do a pretty crisp snap roll
too.........hehe, just lacks the power to get true "decent" vertical
performance...with one exception, about the first 30 to 45 seconds of
flight while the battery voltage is high. But still, flies well....handles
a slight breeze okay.
I got my batteries from Radical R/C. The pack is a 8 AAA cell pack and
weighs very little. Im not sure what the comparable nicad weighs, but maybe
this NiMh pack is lighter enough to make a difference. Sucks to add 1 oz to
a 12 oz plane, that is a big percentage of weight.
Thanks for all the ideas though, guys.........anyone else have one of these?
Any comments, etc?
Thanks again!
