Anyone intersted in my Electrajet? Cobalt motor with prop, servos, ESC, delta mixer for $150 ? It really rips! My hanger is getting too full! Send me a private message if interested. I live in Northern NJ if anyone wants to pick it up. For $200.00 I will throw in another electajet with an 061 mounted with a pusher prop. That is just the plane with motor mounted.

I happened across one of these at a local hobby shop and bought it. I'm just marking the post so I can get ideas on batterys and motors. It's a nice slow flyer as it is but I want fast and scary.

I still have mine. It is completely stock other than I fly it with 3 cell Lipo.

I don't fly it very often as my interest has turned more toward gliders.

Thanks for the reports, This forum was old enough I didn't know if there would be anyone around. I've been flying for way too many years, almost all nitro. I've been wanting to get into large scale electric but the price is very prohibitive. The terms used in the disctiptions are new to me also. I'm on my way to a fly in up at Casper Wyoming now but later tonight I'll post a picture of the guts of my plane. I used a Global Wattage 8 cell 650 mAh that I found locally. It's the only one I could find locally that would fit.

I'll be back.

I picked up a 3 cell lipo. It made a world of difference. I'd like to try a brushless on it. Maybe later. I need to find out how they are mounted, which motor would work well and which speed controller. I've purchased, built and flown two electrics since my first post to this forum. I'm getting closer to wanting to convert all my planes to electric. Oh, and the global wattage battery I listed above was junk. I tried a great planes nimh battery, same size and amperage and it was much better than the global battery.
