Slow stick upgrade???
I want to upgrade my Slow Stick to a 350C. Which gearbox and prop should I get? What tires/wheels work well on the slow stick?
What do the trailing letters mean? 350C- AS,BS,CS,DS
Thanks,
Tad

For the most complete info on GWS gear go to[link]http://www.balsapr.com[/link]The have charts for all their motors, gearboxes and battery combinations. By the way I have a SS with a 350C and a 10x4.7 prop runnig with a 9.6 800mah battery and it's awesome.

RE: Slow stick upgrade???
does anyone have any problems with lack of turn in the stick, It works great one way but the other it is really slow.
Also do you have any trouble with lack of lift.
What power kit does the slow stick come with.

Yes, the problem is the horns that come with the kit, replace them with Dubro horns like the ones used for 1/2A planes and you won't have any more problems. Also did you bevel the edge of the rudder before applying the tape, it could be that the shape of the edge is causing it to stop, for the most part what I have seen is the horns though.

I would first check the bevel on the rudder. I think it says to cut a 30 degree bevel but you may have to cut it a little more than that. See if it is hitting you may have to bevel it a little more. If that is not the case you can drill another hole in the control horn closer to the rudder to give you more throw. Hope that helps.
