Default ESC for p51d with 400/s motor

I have just purchased a GWS P51d with a 400/s motor & was going to use a 9.6v 800Mah battery pack with it. I also have a ISC300 ESC from my Tiger Moth and would like to know if it will handle the Amp draw for this motor?

After doing a search on the Mustang I notice that most people are getting kits that have either the 300 or 350/c motors. Can anyone tell me any information on the 400/s combination, tips
or even the best prop to use?

Have been flying nitro for a while , but the electrics are a new ballgame for me! Thanks.

Hey Scott88
do you mean the 400/s will pull about 15 amps or more?

Hello,

I want to get another plane that isn't so hard to controll (seeing how I've only flown the stupid Aerobird Challenger). What would be a good plane that has elevator controll and maybe aeilerons (do I even want aeilerons? do you think they are too high tech for an inexperienced guy like me?) Any and all information will be welcome. Money also isnt an issue with me.

Also, on my new peak charger, what should I have it set at if I have a 8.4 730 namh battery.

THanks

Peace Out
