Need Recommendation for SS flight packs
I've flown gas planes for years and want to purchase a slow stick for the fun of it. I've got standard size servos and receiver but from what I hear, I should go ahead and get micros. I've also heard to stay away from single conversion receivers. I've been looking at the GreatPlanes elictrifly flight pack - would this be a bad choice?
Also, what should I get for battery pack for stock power train set-up. I've looked at RCB 650's and 1050's
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

RE: Need Recommendation for SS flight packs
I'm not sure about a flight pack, but I can show you where to get a great battery pack -
http://www.unipros.com/cbpsite/custo...ssion_id=98216
Much cheaper than any other place I've seen. I got 7 KAN1050s in a custom offset brick config. It works great - run times are over 10 minutes and it won't burn up your motor like 8-cell packs do...
I use HS-81 servos (mini) with 40-50 oz/in^2 of torque, which might be somewhat overkill. It seems a lot of people are using HS-55 servos (half the weight of my servos).
As for the radio sys, I have the Hitec Neon deluxe pack (came with the HS-81s) and use a 20A ESC from my Zagi
Good luck!
