Default Firebird hidden port

I read in an old post that you can cut open the Firebird XL and find an x-port. Now, i want to see if thats true, but i dont want to cut open the whole side. Does anybody know, or can give advice or pictures to where it is? Thanks for the help.

Default RE: Firebird hidden port

remove the two pegs from the outside that stick into the rear foam that holds the battery. Some the later AB (pre challenger) have this too. But it would have to have been made in late August. I dont know if there are two flight modes the the XL but if there is you can see if it will go into the other mode. That might let you know you have the X-port.
