Default Slow Stick

Hi all

Well i'v finally recieved my new Slow Stick.....BUT one question i have is that the tail section/elevator (not the fin) is in 2 peices?? is this supposeded to be like this??

Yes, you have to tape them together with clear packing tape like you do with the fin/rudder. It should say how in the manual.

Thanks for your reply, but the Fin/Rudder is in one piece and the tail/elevator is in 2 peices?

The first slow stick I bought actually had the parts still in a bigger sheet.
I think GWS has found a way to reduce the amount of foam that they use, by cutting the tail sections out of separate pieces of foam. The last 4 or 5 that I've bought have all had the elevator separated from the horizontal stabilizer.
You will have to separate the rudder from the vertical stablizer anyway, so you'll end up with them separated anyway.

Hi thanks for your reply, so i need to seperate the rudder/fin assembly, i thought i just need to tape once side and sand 45 degrees accross the hinge line?
