Anybody read Dave Browns letter in this months AMA mag? He's questioning the safety of Li-Po's. Looks like he's starting to plan on safety rule #10, Banning Li-Po batteries.

I don't read that from his article at all. The aspects of Lithium batteries that he talks about are correct and considered common sense among those who use them. Enough of these accidents have occurred to warrant safety concern, especially when people ignore the obvious and continue to abuse the technology. There is ample warnings on commercially available Lithium packs and plenty of good info on this site as well as the web that anyone who chooses to use these new power sources have a obligation to know.
