Default This plane is kinda fun!!!!

My girlfriends mom knew i was really into R/C stuff... She went out and bought me a Firebird Outlaw from Hobby Zone.... This thing is so much fun to try to keep in the air... FLies quite well... Only 2 channels but has 2 motors so it's tricky to learn.

Yeah I had the same euphoria when I flew my firebird II for the first time. I never could have imagined I could fly an RC plane or that something that only cost 80 dollars would really work. I went on to fly it many times, crash it many times and eventually do loops with it. Welcome to the club comrade!

LOl, i was flying mine with my dad, we got them SOOOOOOOO high we though we were going to lose them.. my dad lost sight of his, i almost lost sight of mine... My dad saw his again when the sun shined off of his and we somehow got them both down...if i were to guess how high we had them, i'd say like AT LEAST 1500 feet... they were little teeny tiny specs in the sky, last time we'll fly them that high..

I think you might over estimate. 1500ft is quite high. I'm doing real flight training, real plnes (as in not rc) and we usually fly around 1000ft. You wouldn't be able to see it, and would probably be out of range.

man, 1500 feet is really high for a little plane like yours. i got an outlaw and i flew it at like 50 feet and the thing was hardly controllable. do flight training aswell in a 2 person glider and we get up to 2000 feet, with a good thermal i can get up to 3000.
