New gear box super noisy.
Just put a new CEM gear box on my sky scooter with an APC 9X6 prop. Man, is it noisy compared to the OEM box. I'm using the 3:1 ratio. There is a noticeable improvement in performance. But the noise!! Before at 200' it was all but silent. Now at 400' you can hear it scream. It has a brass small gear and an aluminum big gear. I adjusted it per the instructions. Anyone else notice this and is it normal? Should I use any kind of lube on the gears?
