GWS ME-109
Just finished my GWS ME-109. WOW>>talk about some cheasy instructions!!
Couple of questions..
1-My hobby shop sold me the Great Planes micro speed control (don't remember the model #). It came with the "Tamiya" battery connector (a lot bigger that the connector i have seen on the other packs at the store), an the wires that go to the motor are also bigger than the ones that came with the motor. Q- Shoud I cahnge the connectors at the ESC or at the components (Battery and motor).
2- How do you find the CG on this airplane? (tips)
3- If you have a ME-109; Do you like it? Is it stable?
Thanks guys..
JT

RE: GWS ME-109
Gee, I didn't have any problems with the instructions...
1. Dump the big connectors. Save the wieght.
2. Believe it or not, the instructions for CG and control throws are correct.
3. Yes I like it. It's quite stable and a very good flyer, in my configuration.
350 Motor w/ "C" gearing and 9x6 APC SF prop.
2s Etec 1200 lipos
A/E/T only (no rudder)
AUW 11.8 oz.
Belly lander, no gear.
Your results may vary....
