Whee. Yellow Bee + No Wind = Fun :)
Well I fixed my yellow bee's wing and decided to give flying another chance. No wind today so I tried out my repair job. The plane flies beatifully in no wind and the twin motor steering and throttle/elevator arrangement works wonderfully. It's more resonsive than my firebird II was and a lot more fun to fly than the predator as far as I'm concerned because it's not so hair raising. With no wind it just soars, climbs great with the proportional throttle, and turning is very responsive with the proportional left right as well. The transmitter has reverse servo switches so if you want throttle to be push forward instead of pull back as is the default you can. They are positioned right next to the sticks as well so if you get confused about steering if the plane is heading towards you then you can just slide the switch over and things will make sense again.,, although that is an area that I don't tend to have a problem with anymore. So in conclusion the plane is a great bargain from hobby lobby international. It's 49 dollars from them and will provide much fun if you DON"T FLY IN ANY WIND.
I admit it, I'm hooked again...
