Dandy Sport Maiden
I finally got my Mountain Models Dandy Sport finished up and got a chance to maiden it. My first flight was ok but the center of gravity was off a little bit. I moved the c.o.g. up a little and it flys great. It's quite a change from flying my ol' Slow Stick. It's a lot faster and ailerons are awsome. I really like being able to do rolls and fly inverted. Inverted is a lot easier than with the Slow stick. I've got 3 flights on her now and still in one piece. Here's some pics.

RE: Dandy Sport Maiden
Congratulations on your great Mountain Models Dandy Sport maiden flights. I use the same setup in my Dandy Sport as you, and I need to add a little nose weight to get CG correct. Did you add nose weight to yours?

RE: Dandy Sport Maiden
What a great pattern on your covering!
Did you cut and fit or is it layered? I mean, are the blue rays laid over the yellow?
I want to do that type of pattern on my next build and I'm not sure which way to go about it.
Thanks,
BobbyG
