Liked the T-hawk. Transferred the electronics into a Slow Stick. Everything went in really easily. Once I get all the bugs worked out (build errors) it should be a formidable machine.

Mine is this one: http://www.monsoonrc.com/planes/mons...ilthundert.htm
Great little flyer, very stable, and very axial rolls.
Now I need more 700 Kokam Li-polies.

I may try a F-27 Stryker with an astro 020 brushless motor. I think it would look cool and go like a scladed cat!

I'm in the process of building a Graupner Funky Chicken. I painted it last weekend, and will install everything else this Saturday. I'm looking foward to flying this wacky plane.

Cubano8, who made the Corsair and how does it fly??
I am in the market for one and don't really want the GWS or a gaser.

INeedHelp,
That Corsair is made by ALFA. The decals were made by me. It has an MPJET Outrunner motor (Red one). I use TP 3s 2100 Li-Po batteries. It flys great.
So does my GWS Corsair, which has a Himax 2025-5300 motor and Etec 3s2p 2200 Li-Po's.
They both fly outstanding, and very stable in the air.
Why 2 Corsair's? I am very partial to them. It is my favorite WWII bird.
Can't wait for Great Planes to come out with there Corsair.
Here's a pic of my GWS Corsair.

Cubano8,
Diggin the ME109 (just got one a week ago, still working on it)
What's the first one a FW190? They look sharp, and very scale like. Unfortunately I work for a jewish owned company and doubt the symbols would go over well. Noone understands history, and see stuff like that as an insult against Jews. ahhh but I digress...
What is that 3rd one? Looks like a P-47 Jug Who made that! Got a TF kit P-47 and that would SO complement my .60 sized one

Yes, the 1st one is an FW-190 made by ALFA, decaled by me. The 3rd one is another ALFA kit, also decaled by me.
I understand you about insulting any Jews with the Nazi symbol.
Now you can try to convert your ME-109 to a Avia S-199. Its what the Israeli air force used in 1948.
I have a book "The Messershmitt 109, 1942 - 1945 - volume 2" From Dominique Breffort and Andre Jouineau. Published by Histoire & Collections.
They Have 3 profile drawing of the Avia S-199(post-war ME 109's), 2 of them painted with RLM 68 Grey, and 1 with sand, dark green and light blue undersides. They look really cool!!
If you want to get extreme with it, you can change the nose to the exact look of the Avia S-199, it shouldn't be too difficult.

First of all the Outrunner does not need a gearbox, which the Himax does, but I use a gearbox setup on my GWS planes anyways, I haven't attempted to try an outrunner yet on my GWS planes. second the outrunner is sooo quiet, again since it doesn't use a gearbox. Now I thought I saw the new Himax outrunner with the GWS stick setup, to use in the GWS planes.
I have read that you need to reinforce the firewall on the ALFA kits because of the vibration given by the Outrunners. I haven't had any firewall issue's with mine yet.
As far as speed goes, I haven't noticed any difference between them.
Weight goes to the outrunner, if thats a concern.
Price-wise I believe that goes to the outrunner as well, since you don't need the expense of the gearbox.
I would say as far as the ALFA's go, If I buy another prop WWII plane (FRANK KI-84). It will have an MPJET Outrunner.
I am currently awaiting on my GWS P-40 to arrive from tower,(Hopefully early Nov, as posted). It will get a Himax with a gearbox on it.

Cubano,
Can you put gear on the Alfa Corsair or is that the way it is??
I would like to have gear because I land in a parking lot.

Thanks INeedHelp,
Sorry no gear. You have to make your own mods to it, to attach a gear. If so I would suggest fixed.
