Default Alfa FW-190 spinner question

I just got my 190 assembeled, and the front of the spinner is very loose.

Is there a good way to attach the front to back without 1. the fix being visible 2. causing an off balance situation for the motor 3. easily removable for broken prop events?

From my exp with some of these alfa spinners. They fly off in the air. I just come to the conclusion of tack gluing it in place with CA.

What I do for a loose Alfa spinner is spread a thin coat of CA to the mating surface of the cone and let it cure before attaching it. This will tighten the fit greatly.

A slight smear of RTV silicon works well. Also easier to remove if you have to take the prop off.

If you ever lose it, as I did mine (it fell into a creek and I never recovered it) a friendly e-mail to ALFA saw the whole spinner replaced, at a small cost.

GWS glue is strong enough to hold it, but rubbery enough to break it apart, if necessary. I have a very flexible nylon prop on mine, to help avoid prop replacement.

Yup. FW190 and I use same method. rubbery is best, holds well, but comes apart without trashing the spinner.

Thanks for the input guys. I may look for the GWS glue at the hobby shop. For now, I used two small pieces of double sided scotch brand tape (black and yellow packaging) at the mating surfaces. Hope to get the thing test flown next week.
