Best Nimh's for S400 ?
HobbyPlace. Are those 'off the shelf' consumer type AA rayovac's or an RC plane specific battery. I'm looking for something for my GWS Beaver and would like to try Nimh. Will it put out the power? - 6 - 7 amps?

Best Nimh's for S400 ?
I am using rayovac (Wally Supplied) 1600's and 700's. Both work very well. I have heard that the Sanyo 1650's were the best but have not tried them yet. I also have GP 1000 cells and they are good also.

Thank you. There is a thread on Electric flight General about this same thing. Phil indicates that those consumer AA cells might not take soldering very well. I've soldered dry cells no prob and NiCads but not the NiMh.

Check this link out. I have these NiMH batteries and everything on this thread is true. I will never buy NiCD batteries for my S400 again!
