Can someone identify this plane? It looks like a cousin to the F-27 Stryker.

It does look a little like that. The one you posted the link to looks a little better engineered. After reading the F-27 thread I'd say it's pretty important that the nose be removable and the control surface connections on the top side seems like a good idea. Re-inforced motor mount is another key.

The one I posted seems to be a uni-fuse nose to tail. The radio gets mounted out in the cockpit area so I'd guess the nose would separate somewhere near the wing.

I'm pretty sure the first plane is made by Multiplex, they make this plane in the single shown and also a twin. I've owned the single (for the life of me I can't remember the name of the plane). If it is the multiplex plane then it is a little faster than the Stryker but not as easy to hand-launch or fly. It is pretty durable and pretty easy to glue back together.
