need a new GWS model to replace my old p-51
well today i retired my p-51 after three years, it was a great model untill the wing ripped of while inverted. i repaired it twice after this. last night i was flying it and things were coming of every were, so i thought its time was up.
well, i need a new one, not another mustang or zero, i would perfere if it was a warbird, wether its an ALFA of GWS, just after some advise.
thanks.

I just bought my second Alfa P-51 from Hobby Lobby. Been flying the painted version for about a year now, and just bought the yellow-tailed P-51 with outrunner brushless. The Alfa Ki-84 is real nice too. The smaller balsa planes are nice too.

The Hobby Lobby warbirds look nice, but are pricey.[:@] I forget which ones, Flying Styro or Alfa, but they're made of a very soft foam. [:'(]I've had the GWS 'stang and still have the GWS Zero, my next will be the GWS Spitfire, I think.[sm=confused.gif] Of coarse there's always the lovable GWS Beaver. We get 3 or 4 of them in the air at once and have full contact combat; WHAT A BLAST![sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

If you like the performance of the Mustang, you may be disappointed going to one of the other GWS war-birds.
I am currently awaiting the winds to die down so I can maiden this P-51-D http://ak-models.com/ep51Q.htm , I expect it to be a screamer.
I have a 400 speed brush less motor in it and AUW is 14.5 oz.
Because I havn't flown it yet, I will refer you to this thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329942 , here they have nothing but good things to say about this.
This is the best price I have seen, and a friend in Japan, ordered the same plane and said it was only $20 for them to ship it to Japan.
I know you said you didn't want another Mustang, but I love the way mine came out, wanted to share that joy and this also gave me another good excuse to post a picture of it Hee Hee Hee
