P-40 F/F conversion videos
Rudder/elevator. Picco servos. 730 2S lipo. GWS IPS motor. Prop that came with plane. Flies ok outdoors on a calm day. I'ts tough indoors though...pull too hard in a turn and it snaps quick...and this just wasn't my night! Tough little plane.

RE: P-40 F/F conversion videos
Hello Nitro,
Yeah, those are fun planes. I have some experience with the Lee/Hobbico FF planes that made them great little flyers. The first thing I did was sheet the bottom wings and take out most of the diheadral. I stayed away from using the rudder for control because of the wing loading(snap roll tendency). I made ailerons and they work great. If you have access to Johnson 250 motors, put one of these in and you will have an all-weather flyer. You need to cut the prop down by 2 cm but wow! I have converted the Zero (best all around flyer), the ME109, the P-40 and the Spitfire. I just pop the radio gear in and out as needed. I am using the Platraco RX/ESC and a 700 lipo. They weigh about 5 oz each. The Spitfire had a direct drive 12mm IPS motor and a 3x3 prop, it was the lightest of the bunch.
Nice flying area!
