What weight balsa to make tail feathers for Slow Stick?
The tail on my SS is getting pretty beat up and saw a few folks reconstructing it with balsa. What weight balsa would work for this so its not too tail heavy?

i think you could get by with 3/32" balsa sheeting. im not the best builder in the world but i had a SS so i kinda know how much tail weight it should have.

I built a tail section from light 1/8" sticks and tissue. Was lighter than stock. You have to be careful with warping though. Not as strong as the original. [

My lastest tail section is made from large foam meat trays. Very easy to cut and assemble! I got mine free from Costco, but I'm sure any meat shop would sell you some for cheap if you asked.
