Default SIG Rascal 49" - Outrunner & Aileron Conversion

Hey all... Over the weekend we won a SIG Rascal 49" airplane at the swapmeet-flyin. Thought it was an ARF, but it turned out to be a kit. What the h-ll, have'nt built a kit since 1979, so we are doing it. Also didn't realize it was without ailerons, can't have that!

So, we are started on the build, and planning to put up our progress here. Just about ready to box the fuse up. We plan on electric, have a Dymond Max 09 outrunner that will pull 28 ozs thrust on a 3S 2100 mAh 10C lipo. Should be more than plenty for a 22 oz plane that is not supposed to 3D. We'll put dual aileron Servos in the wing, double the ribs and build in some trays. Aileron will be two ribs span in length, should be plenty. Looks like this could be a nice trainer-sport plane.

Is there any Rascal fans out there? I looked for a thread, no luck. Tell us how you like it? Mods? What are you running?
