Help with my first electric
I have a GP Spirit of St Louis Foam electric,a GP ElectriflyC-5 Nano HF ESC,a JR Sport RS6UL micro receiver.
I want to use my JR XP6102 PCM transmitter for it,my JR Venture 30 and my Century .50 Bell 47 G.
I hooked everything up and get ZERO response from the electric plane.I know the servos are getting power since they"shudder"when I turn the transmitter on and off.
Im completely stumped.

Is the right crystal in the receiver?
Then I would make sure yoour connections are correct at the receiver.
I had a plane act similar to this with a bad crystal as well, try another if you have one.
A bad servo may do this also you may want to try different parts if all else fails substituting one at a time.

the crystal is brand new,but I do have a concern-It is the same size as the crystals in my receivers on my two choppers-are there diferent size crystals for a micro receiver?

I found the problem-I had a JRRS6UL recvr made for FUTABA(NEGATIVE SHIFT).
I put in a POSITIVE SHIFT forJR &AIRTRONICS & everything works fine.
