RE: electirc 2 gas
you should be able to use it,,a cox .049 (blackwidow or goldenbee)with tank can be mounted to a plywood mount which can be epoxied to the front of the plane,,you'll have to cut off a couple of inches of foam off the nose,,the glow fuel wont hurt the foam, but it will get dirty and eventually turn yellowish...any other type of engine will require an external tank with even more plumbing problems,,,,,you will probably have to move the battery back to maintain the CG....Rog

RE: electirc 2 gas
psst.... it is an electric to glow conversion
gas is a WHOLE different thing and there are no engines that are usable for this project that run on gas.....
just an FYI
(and Yes, my wife says I nitpick too much too!)

I dont see where anyone said GAS,,? at any rate you may be better off leaving your scooter alone and get you a $4 walmart glider the big one with like a 4 foot wingspan to experiment with lots of them have been made..search over inthe 1/2A forum,,just cut off about 5-6 inches off the front. just dig out holes/pockets for your servos/batt you'll only need 2 servos, rudder, elevator, as engine runs wide open.....Rog
