This is my first atttempt at arial video.. Quality is crap. I'm using a Vivitar 3746 vivicam rubberbanded atop of of the wing.
its about a 1 minute 1/2 long. I'm getting a Aiptek IS DV minicam soon. the vivitar camera weighs about 5-6 oz.

Quality looks Ok to me. How well does it fly with the added weight?

It flew ok but had to fly with full throotle to get up high. And i had to go into a steep dive to do a loop. But, it flew ok better than i expected.

I'm looking to do something similar on my Challenger but I'm having problems finding a decent lightweight USB camera. There are a few pen cameras on EBAY but they can only do short durations and I don't want to go down the wireless route!

On seeing your picture, I think I'll try my cheap digi camera and see if it will take off first!

Ok I rigged my ABX the same way as foreverNight shows in his pic. Wow. My plane was so heavy I couldn't believe I kept it airborne. Total flight time was 5:35, had to stay WOT or the Bird would drop like a rock. Man It was a tad windy as well but that seemed to help me gain altitude and keep this thing flying.
Enjoy the vid.
I'll put up the entire 34MB Divx version on my site for downloads if anyone wants the full 5:35 min PM me.

I uploaded first 2 min of vid here [link=http://home.comcast.net/~p0stal/first_fly.wmv]Video Here[/link]

Also took a screener of myself in action

I used a kodak CX7530 with a 512mb sd card. gives me 23 min of video. But it's to heavy. I'm goin out today in search of much smaller cam.
camera weighs 6.7oz without batteries
