Help me pick my next plane 4ch epp
I posted this on the foamies forum. Thought I'd try it here, too to see what responses I get....
I want to buy a 4 channel plane. I have the following equipment available to use:
6 channel tx
5 channel rx (hitec 05s)
hs-55 servos
bl esc (Thunderbird 18)
Esskay 400xt bl motor
11.1v 1000mAh 15C lipo's
What I wanted was a Flatana but someone said on another thread they are fragile and don't waste money on them if you're just learning to fly 4 ch/3D.
Understand there is some learning to be done. I have never flown a 4 channel. I have a Shun Da Cub (3 ch) and a Firebird Comander (2 ch).
I need a tough, as in EPP or tougher, plane that I can learn ailerons and maybe some 3D flying. The Typhoon from HobbyZone sounds good but not with the added expense of another transmitter I won't use.
Help me, Somebody! What do I want??

Why don't you look at a Fermosa,or is it more a 3D bird you are looking for?
That could be a very cheap option seeing you have the gear.
I don't have one myself, but have looked at them, and a lot of people seem to think they are good value.
