Man this thing is tough!
For the last two day in a row the last flight of the day ended up Auger in at full throttle. First one was from flying too low upside down and pulling back going into the back side of a loop. I needed about another foot to make it. Repaired the buckling of the fuse with Popsicle sticks and 15 min epoxy.
(my baby fly's good heavy from the 15 min stuff.)
Today was a loop too low that resulted in bending the wire the wheels are mounted on and breaking a plastic landing gear faring.
Also two successful flights with the powered Chuck glider.
All in all a great day of flying.

A "Tough plane" would be able to take a crash and not break. EPP is a good foam that will take a crash and not break easy because it is flexible. EPO is also good and tough.
It is advertised as "Easy to repair, lightweight, durable Z-Foamâ„¢ construction"
So you could say it is "Easy to repair" but not exactly "Tough"

RE: Official Hobby Zone
I've been watching my neighbor fly his red and blue Super Cubs for awhile now...so I just bought mine yesterday! These things are so cool...especially for those of us with little ones around. My 5 year old son loved chasing it all around the park. I took it out to the neighborhood park at dusk last night and flew this thing for all it was worth. What an easy flying plane!! At one point, I grabbed my Polaroid mini camcorder and strapped it to the bottom with rubber bands for a little video action too. My neighbor thought it would throw off the weight and crash...but it flew perfectly!
Did I mention how cool, stable and awesome these planes are?! I can't wait to fly some more soon...and then some more after that!

Yeah, they'll handle small cameras well - especially if you mount them under the center of gravity like you did.
Which parks you flying at?

That would be a no. If I'm not mistaken, the mini cub has servos that are built on the board and will not be strong enogh for the super cub.

RE: Official Hobby Zone
Hey all I've been thinking about resurecting the cub. Had the ESC catch on fire. I got the fire out pretty quickly and only a little foam melted away. I have a extra motor and ESC on a plane that I just didn't like the way it flew. What I have is the A2208/12 would this work in my super cub?http://www.suppomodel.com/ It's the A2208/12 1800KV A2208/12 AUW range is 200 - 500 g 2 or 3 cell lipo. I was thinking of using a 2 cell lipo on a ubec for power and a regulare receiver pack for the receiver and servos.
Thanks
Thanks

This is our local helicopter club (SMRCHA) flying field behind the public works complex. It was a bit too windy to fly the helis I had with me, so I took up the SC. It's a long video (feature length ), but it's easy enough to skip ahead. The area looks better when there are leaves on the trees.

Talking about TX's, will the LP RTF bind with a dx5e? Since it is only 10 dollars more I was thinking of getting it and selling the TX on ebay.

No it will not bind with the DX5e or any other DSM2 tech radio. You have to have a compatible DSM2 receiver

Thanks Wheelnut you just saved me from bidding on one on Ebay!

RE: Official Hobby Zone
I moved the control rods on the rudder and elevator to the next hole just to test it out and what a difference it makes.
I was flying upside down at the 3:00 minute mark and if it wasnt for the extra control I think it would have crashed.

I have been looking online at the keychain camera some of you are using. What is the best spot and how are you attaching it to your planes?
