takeoff with p51 mustang
I bought the p 51 mustang made by parkzone and the dealer told me to take it off at half speed and the manual told me to take it off at full speed. Thinking im going with the dealer but want some more opinions.

no dealer is wrong throw at full power and with full up elevator trim. i 5-10 mph wind is preferred. throw from the front of the aircraft ive had mine for 2 years and havent broken a thing I also fly ww2 ww1 fighters and multis so listen! a dead calm day will be rought unless you throw fast! also make sure the pack is topped off !

RE: takeoff with p51 mustang
This is a disaster waiting to happen if you don't know how to hand launch a plane... Make sure you read the P-51 threads before you attempt to fly the plane please. I've seen and heard some rediculous things about this plane from salesmen. It's a great plane but it is not for someone who does not know how to hand launch a plane. It is not the easiest to launch. The FW 190 would have been a better choice. hehe oh by the way the planes only been out just over a year
