I would not buy one due to Megatechs Piss poor service. I have been waiting for wings for mine since late october. Call after call manager after manager this company has the worse customer service I have ever witnessed. Both wings for the Stealth have been on backorder for 5 months!!!! Megatech I hope you see this!!

I finally *****ed enough the gave me a P51 Free. I got it Friday opened the undamaged box and the plastic cowl that covers the engine / gear box assy had 2 small cracks hows that for quality!!! Granted the cracks are nothing 2 fix a little CA and some trim tape and it's good as new but not expected from a new kit!

Glad to hear that you got something from them.
I have ordered some spare parts for mine, received all but one wing.
I still havent flown it yet. waiting for skills to improve. I think that it will be a handfull. and it won't function right if it is the least bit cold. the motor will cut out and the reception is poor.
I would gladly sell it, and I havent even attempted a flight with it.

Wow yours cuts out too!!! I finally got a wing from them but whoever packed it almost broke the mounting tab off I epoxied it back together and took the plane out and flew it for about 5 minutes and everything went well I even did some inverted flight. Then the motor cut out I landed it under no power then went to the car got my extra battery and the motor would spin for 1 second and then die. The servos worked fine. I tried it 2 hours later same thing................2 days later and it worked.

When my new plane started giving me problems, the day i received it, I phoned, them they immediately told me it was because it was cold.
I assembled the plane in my house, cycled the battery, no problems.
But when i tried to do this in my garage where the temp was 55f or 10c nothing would work right.
I have tried with both the plane and receiver, warm and cold, it will only work ok if they are really warm.
I wonder how a hand warmer pack inside the fuse would affect performance ?
I guess i'll wait for warmer weather.

The Megastealth is very hard at least for me to launch. It almost always tumbles on the ground at least once before I get it right. I really don't like this. I have a couple of planes that I always had launch with no problems at all.

Well when I get up enough nerve to try it, And it's warm enough. I'll try to let you know how I make out.
Have you flown the P51 yet ? I was thinking about getting one of them.

Find the cheapest price on the P51 RTR kit and let me know I 'll beat the price by %20 and throw in an extra battery.

Default RE: megatech stealth

If you are looking for a fast delta wing style plane I would go with the Park Zone F-27 Stryker. It is cheaper then the stealth and seems to be better in every way. If anyone disagrees let me know.
