Gws Slow Stick Modification For Improved Performance
Before you assemble your new SLOW STICK you need to clip your wingtips.
To do it right, find the fake aileron and cut the wings straight with the end of the aileron at the wingtip end.
This eliminates the downward section of the wing and will allow much greater performance and save a little weight!!
I use a 6-cell 1100mah NIMH battery pack and get 15-18 minute flights. An 8-cell 800mah NICAD does great for aerobatic power.
TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE THIS MOD!!

How's it glide with that much of the wing gone? May buy another kit and make a wing like that. With the narrow wing how do you mount the 8 cell pack?

The glide is superb!!
You get great performance and some aerobatic capabilities!
Just buy another kit and try it.
I have all the locals clipping the wing and loving it.
