Fokker
My son has the Fokker Eindecker by Horizon. The plane is great except it lacks extra power.
We have the 8.4 volt 600mah battery with the stock 280 motor and three blade prop.
Would a 9.6 volt 730mah metal hydride battery give us more power without wearing out the motor to fast?
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated as we are new to electrics, THANKS to all.

The 9.6 will help, but you will pay a longervity price at 9.6v. When you replace it, consider going to a Speed 300/370 4 or 5 to 1 geared motor at 9.6v with an 8x6 prop. It should be much better output.
