Default Spark when plugging in battery

I have a stock Stryker C and have noticed that when I plug my battery into the ESC, there is a little spark. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal?

Default RE: Spark when plugging in battery

It is sparking because you are energizing the ESC (and the BEC circuit). Unless you have a switch in the circuit, it will spark every time.
That is also a reminder that any time your battery is plugged in, the system is drawing some energy from the battery.
