RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B
I was wonderring about the spitfires foam. I have heard that if you leave it out in the sun too long it will start to bouble(naturally). Does anyone know how long it would have to take for the faom to melt or bouble(just so i dont make the same mistake) Or would anyone have any tips on how not to get the foam wrecked or dammaged by the sun???(appart from leving it in the shade).
Thank you very much!

foam models and their coverings are susceptible to warping from excessive heat...best thing to do is not keep her in the car or out in direct sunlight too long...especially during the hot summer months...if your field doesn't have any shade, bring an old towel or bedsheet to cover your models up while they're on the ground...

I left my P-51 in the car with some sun on a not-so-hot day, and it still left small blisters. So I don't leave any of my planes in the car parked in the sun anymore.

I know this question has been probably answered many times in the past but does the spitfire have enough power (for the size of the plane) to do some or many aerobatics.Ex: Loops, rools, inverts ect... Also how durrable is the foam on a landing thats less than perfect like a small dive of bad belly slide...
Thanks alot

Plenty of power. It is the lightest of the three PZ warbirds, so it has the best performance. It also seems to be the most durable, but remember, these things are built to fly, not built to crash!
I have done all sorts of stunts except for those requiring rudder, and the Spitfire has no problem. I have not yet tried an outside loop, but I don't like that stunt anyway. Makes me uncomfortable. I have done: Cuban 8s, immelman, rolls, spilt S, double loops, inverted fly by, etc.

What is the range of this plane? Also how heavy are the servos? What does "3 wire servos" mean? And last but not least. Can you put these servos on anather plane? Ex: Another 40 inch wingspan plane about same size?
Thanks

Straight up is for jets, not WWII warbirds! How about a nice scale 45 deg zoom? The servos can be used on other planes.

I agree tclaridge. It does aggrivate me when someone has a great looking scale electric warbird and it can just about hover.

AB,
I don't know servo weight, but I would guess about 1/4 oz. Range is as far as you can see. I have used a PZ radio beyond 1000 ft with no problem and it is rated to 2500 ft, but you honestly can't see that far and still fly! If you mean flight duration, I get about 18 minutes (TP 3S 2100mah) in typical flight: hi speed passes, loops, rolls, and cruising around the field.

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B
I have G 3.5 sim and well i do not really have any planes on it to train on and be ready for my first fligth with my pz spitfire. I believe that the closest plane that comes to the spitfire would be the parkzone focke wulf (that you can get on knifeedge.com). So if anyone has G 3.5 flight simulator and the pz spitfire ( in real life)(and im guessing that lots of people do) could you please get the parkzone focke wulf on knifeedge.com and tell me if they fly just about the same or tell me the big differences in beetween the realflight pz focke wulf and the real pz spitfire...(that is in the realism and the way they fly)(similarities and differences)
I do hope that this message is clear to anyone who may read it! [&:]
Thank you very much i really really appreciate it...

Are you not using the velcro battery retainer? Strap it in tight and you shouldn't have any worries.
