@Bigtone.

nice video, only thing wrong it is from the makers, they always fly ok, we want home videos and reports of how they fly, wheather thay are as tempromental as the P-51,
and so on.
I like this video though it shows what it can do in the hands of a test pilot.

nice video. Again I want to see some home videos also and see how it compares to the Focke Wulf or even the P-51 Mustang. From the video seems like it fly's pretty nice.

I don't know guys I would hate to be negative but it looks just as shaky as my FW-190, which I am ready to give up on.
Furthermore judging it by it landing, this video was shot in some pretty good headwind. It landed too soft ( low forward speed) for a warbird.
have they realy improved it much? by giving it a 3 wire servo? I am not sold on it yet. I will wait till some good reports come in. :-?

I have just flown the parkzone Spitfire for a magazine review. I was fairly impressed with it. It looks very convincing in the air and had the right levle of performance for scale flight.

The model is comparatively low on power compared to say the Ultrafly P40 with brushless outrunner and this limits what the spitfire can do in stock form. However with the throws set as standard it but on high rates it is very benign. It required little trimming to get it to the stage you could fly hands off. It all depends what you want to do with it but straight from the box it is a very comfortable plane to fly and I think with more power it would be more fun albeit it would than be flying too fast for scale speed. I will try to post some inflight shots in the next couple of days but my impression is a nice plane which could certainly handle more power if thats what you want.

I'm definitely not going to be fighting the urge to order this from Australia soon....it's cheaper there than the UK and you get the 2 stick radio

Well I have had a few more flights on the Parkzone spitfire in wind speeds up to 25 mph. It coped very well although I had to use full throttle more than I liked. here are the promised photos.

I will have to say I have a pkz p-51 and thunderpower 2100 3 cell in it and it flies great. Sure it could use more power but what you get out of the box from parkzone you can not beat the flight characteristics for a ready to fly for what 179.00. I have had the fw 190 I was not to impressed with it I think it is much easier to fly than the p-51 it just was not for me,I sold it. I love the spitfires, I am going to have to get my hands on one of those as soon as they release in the U.S.A. It looks like it flies very good in the video that horizon hobby has online for the amount of wind it is flying in. Some one shoot me back some feedback on the flight characteristics if it is worthy of purchasing or not.

My hangar: Brushless stryker, Alfa F86, Pkz p-51 and Pkz Typhoon, Funtana X electric

Well, my PZ Spit arrived last night from Australia (I couldn't wait, and I wanted the 2 stick radio). It looks damn good from about 5 feet away, although the finish was broken around both wingtips right out of the box. It's obvious that it's built to a price point, but for the price there's no way I can possibly complain. It looks good enough that it's hanging on my wall right now When I first plugged everything in to do a radio test I couldn't figure out why the ailerons weren't working....so I started switching around plugs in the receiver. Apparently "RUD" is what goes for the aileron plugin nowadays, and "AIL" goes to thin air

That confusion aside, everything seems in order, and there's no way it could have been easier to "assemble" and get flight ready. Now I just have to wait for this -30C weather to go away so I can fly the damn thing
