hi all , anyway i just built my second slow stik,after breaking the first one ahead of the front wing mount. to much wind, boo hoo boo hoo,took the fuse and got 3/8 x 3/8 piece of woob and shaved down til i could stuff it inside the fuse. hope to make stronger andd added a little weight. running 7 cell 1000 nimh and it flew geat ordering batteries from BYD USA.COM am running 2 amp for now just waiting to burn to upgrade. 25.00 for 2 (two) 8 cell 9.6 1100 nimh. best price ive seen. have p-51 waiting for warmer weather.

Yeah I really like the 7 cell 1000 mah NiMHs from BYDusa.com. 15-20 minutes a pack for me.

Try using 1600 mAh MiMh 8 cell packs.... 20 oz AUW, still happily flying slow, yet happily flew in 15 mph winds, even with partial throttle.

Havent tried it yet, but I HAVE BEEN THINKING about using my 18 oz 2500 mAh pack, sorta like an old cargo event.
