Firebird XL question...
Can the fishing line that controls the v-tail surfaces be replaced? I can't see a way to get into the fuse to replace them, and it seems that they would eventually wear out where they come out of the tail boom.

They probably will not wear out, but if something happens, you have to open the canopy, take out the styro braces, and pull out the circuit board where the "servo" (not really a true servo) is. It is a real bear to do, and tough to get back together, but it can be done. the board barely fits out the canopy, but it will come out.
Hope this helps!
PS you can also just buy a new Fuselage set for about 40 dollars, just be sure to get the right channel.

That's pretty much what I thougt. I think I would opt for the new fuse over a nervous breakdown trying to fish that junk out of there. Thanks.

Firebird XL question...
Doesn't the XL take a 6 cell baterry? Or have they came out with a 8 cell pack that will fit in it? The 6 cell lasts about 15-20 minutes depending on throttle managemnt.
