Buying GWS P-51 Package please help
Well I was going to buy a Sky Scooter Pro 2 when I found a deal on a GWS P-51 package. It's the P-51 painted 300 version with a GWS Radio kit. 3 Naro,ESC/BEC,8.4 batt,Trans and rec. Dream Starter GW/RCS240. Shipped to my house total cost of $195.
Yes I know the radio leaves a little to be desired, but how about that price? Can I do better?
Email me if you like..

GWS P51
If you've never flown before...........it could be a hand full.......actually it WILL be a hand full! Not impossible but make sure you have a nice LARGE open area!
I love it! Built very easily looks great except for the wheels (get some Dubro foamies). Make sure the CG is AT LEAST where they recommend.
However if you want an easy bird to fly to practice with (very forgiving) & can handle wind go the GWS Beaver! The slow stick has a cow in wind!
Fernando!

Buying GWS P-51 Package please help
Price is in the ball park of what Horizon (GWS importer) charges on their website. You could alternativly get the set w/o the transmitter, and pick up a (eg) Hitec Flash 5x from servocity ($110 shipped). You will also need a charger, and probably a 2nd or even 3 battery pack - but otherwise as AuzzieRCFlyer
said, it can be a handfull.

Well..here we go
I just got the whole shootin' match for $160 delivered. Now I couldn't pass that up. If I get white knuckled on roll out then I'll throw everything in a Beaver. At least I'll have a pretty P-51 in the waiting. I've flown .40 ugly sticks before so I should be ok..We shall see.
