25 inch wingspan, you mean?
Sounds like a candidate for a Astro Firefly motor - the best brushless motor in it's class.
Here's the link:

SEEMS pricey, but remember it includes the speed control.

Oh yeah, you asked about radio equipment too.
For that sized plane, you're going to want the smallest. Some teensy servos can be had (Blue Arrow, etc.) but they tend to wear out quickly and they're sortta cheaply built.
Click here to check out the Cirrus Micro Joule system. It comes with two servos, receiver, and a speed control that you won't need for the Astro motor (but the Astro control will work fine with the Cirrus system). This is the lightest, smallest flight plack of conventional design on the planet and all-up weight is around one ounce! I've installed two of these systems into Peanut-scale planes (thirteen inch span or less).
I've also got a spare for sale - I've moved to another area of the hobby. Mine comes with an extra servo (total of 3). I haven't listed it 'cause it never crossed my mind to sell it - but if you can put it to good use PM me. I'll give you a "can't lose" price.
