bad day for flyin, for ol Rog,, crazy max hit terra firma and split in half! only the pushrods held it together.. fixed it with med ca and ply......flying along and ,huh? outta control, wham no landing gear.. crap.. ok hand launch after a check of the controls, everything looks ok all of a sudden it goes 90 degrees into the school library..ouch , good thing no one else was around... this aint your dad's park flyer.. I never had these problems with my GWS stick......go to get my heli , and forgot about the boom strike, I figure I better sit down and leave well enough alone,
lets see I need a prop, supports for the wing saddle, aileron servo arm, new plywood mount for landing gear,
I shoulda stuck with GWS,maybe got a mustang

just as bad or worse!!
First flight on the Crazy Max
Thought the Crazy Max was dead on. Double checked the controls, had dual rates set, checked the cg......
ROG from a paved parking lot in 6 feet plane... zoomed up...tried to set the trim......uh-oh it starts turning right and the plane is now headed toward me about 20 feet to my right....before you know it its behind me and can't see it (I'm flying from a wheelchair and can't turn around) so I center the controls and try to cut..CRAAASH ..the throttle.....
Lets see the damage:
A split fuselage in front of the servos
knocked off the motor mount AND cracked the gearbox (ouch $$)
broken prop
broken landing gear mount and broke one wheel spoke
The Crazy Max WILL live to fly again!!
BTW any suggestions on mounting the motor ie what type ofdown/right thrust angle?
